Woohoo! Muscle tingling is nothing more than mere anxiety!
Edited on Mon Feb-27-06 06:28 PM by HypnoToad
Gee, I needn't worry about anything ever again! :sarcasm:

Now I know the latest duck in a long line of quacks is blowing me off and not in the good way.

Maybe I get episodes of anxiety because these underlying problems are driving me nuts?

I've also done some research; anxiety is not said to cause muscle tingling. But look at the things that cause it. FIVE of them instantly apply to me! x( x( x(

The quack can go resign himself. I've had it. I've fought before and nearly lost. And I no longer have the time to tinker around with their hyperbole.

Dunno what I have to live FOR, but I'm going to live it, damn it. x(

1. Good on ya, Toad
And good for us, too. :toast:

Thing is, often merely through living do we find out what we're living for.

It's out there somewhere. And you don't really have to look, because if it's really your raison d' etre, it'll find you.

3. My mum told me she has to deal with that slop treatment constantly.
I felt sorry for her before. These days I far more than just empathize.

I am doing my bit for exercise and improvement. But if they took half a fuckin' mo', then the followup visits would not be necessary. I am crying out for help, I told him up front I know the difference, and he still labels "anxiety" and "hyperventilation"?! You bet I'm outraged.

4. I actually had one shrink that said it wasnt all in my head...
but all he wanted to do was throw meds down my throat and said I need to see a therapist for desentiveization (i know i butchered that one ). I think its just a catch all phrase for docs when they cant find anything else wrong. Did you ever see a neurologist?

5. Some doctors just SUCK.
They're far more interested in easy answers than in actually knowing what they're doing.

I hope you find a better doctor.

6. Thanks, I shall continue looking...
Though chances are it's just a matter of proper reconditioning the proper areas without screwing up my neck... a muscle relaxant would be nice to have...

Still, HE is a pain in the neck and his dismissal of ALL of it as 'anxiety' had me hitting the fan.
