I'm batching it tonight.
miz t. is off to a Mardi Gras parade with some friends.

I went to a couple last year.
My first.
And probably last.

I guess I've lost my childlike sense of wonder and magic or whatever.
More's the pity.
She enjoys them, and I sure don't begrudge her that.

I just don't get standing on the sidewalk screaming "HEY MISTER! THROW ME SUMPTHIN!"
And scrabbling in the street for cheap plastic beads made in China.
OK, sometimes you get something good, like a Moon Pie

but I can buy them at the Winn-Dixie and besides, they aren't on my diet anymore anyway.

I'd much rather just kick back here with a Scotch or two and see what's happening in the Lounge.
I reckon I've become a real curmudgeon and a party pooper.
