Even my parents can't stand Bode and Sasha

My Mom ranted for 20 minutes about them, and how Kimmie Meissner will beat Sasha at World's, and how Picabo Street slammed quite a few of the Alpine skiers (ie -- it takes practice and discipline to become a skier, an dyou can't get that in a bar, and there are many other skiers that work their butts off and deserved a place on the team). It was quite exciting.

However, I think this is getting to her... especially Bode's comment about not wanting or needing medals... omg. And, she thinks Sasha is a snot. But she loves Joey Cheek!

3. Sasha did perform magnificently at the U.S. national championships.

Not that I'm a rabid Sasha fan or anything, but I don't think people should judge her entirely on her long program at the Olympics.

We're talking about her bad sportsmanship, her politics, and her arrogance. And, re: the Nationals: she performed competently, while her main -- and best -- competitor out with an injury. Go Kimmie and Emily in the Worlds!
