Let's play the "Fortnuately, Unfortunately" game re: the Bu$h presidency
For example:

Fortunately, George H.W. Bush was defeated for re-election in 1992.
Unfortunately, the 1994 mid-term elections were a republican rout.
Fortunately, Bill Clinton easily won re-election in 1996.
Unfortunately, Clinton's second term was turned into a soap opera called Monica.
Fortunately, Clinton weathered the soap opera.
Unfortunately, George W. Bush decided to run for President.
Fortunately, Al Gore decided to run for President.
Unfortunately, lots of big money was put behind the Bush campaign.
Fortunately, 500,000 more people voted for Gore than Bush.
Unfortunately, the vote came down to one state (Florida).
Fortunately, Al Gore got more votes in Florida than Bush.
Unfortunately, the secretary of state in Florida was a Bush supporter.
