But, shit — you run the "board" even if it is on your computer. You pick the tunes, which is more than most "real" jocks can say. You do the "patter." If you've got listeners, it doesn't matter if you're in a glassed-in booth at a 50kw station or your home office.

I was at a tiny little station a brazillion years ago. But as long as I knew people were listening, I felt like Wolfman fuckin' Jack. :smoke:

17. I think listener loyalty matters more than sheer numbers
Like KPIG — they're never high in the book because they have a weak signal. But a hell of a lot of their listeners take pride in being Piggies. It's kind of a cult.

It helps, too, that they were the first radio station on the internets.
