4. Months ago, a DUER posted this screenplay synopsis.
It was a story about a man who strives for a very long to realize his dreams.
He gets so close only to have his dreams smashed before his very eyes
by the antagonist who also mocks him. But here comes the really great part,
he goes through a period of depression where he is forced to reevaluate his
original goals. He then establishes some rock solid values, labors arduously,
and is actually able to make his dreams come to fruition. Along the way he finds
out who he is at the core of his soul. Oh yeah, interspersed through out his
ordeal he finds love, loses love and finds his love again. It really was a gripping tale. Now, if I could only remember the name...

10. It's a spoof of fantasy and science fiction tropes.
A highly average 21-year-old American male (one of my friends from HS) has to save a highly generic fantasyland (called Fantasyland) from its own terrible storyline by finding the fabled Deus Ex machine. :silly: A fine example of metafiction.

when describing her attitude, you can say: "She was quick to sniff a butt, and believed she had every right to do so, but sniff her butt? That's a good way to get bit!"

9. You're writing the screenplay in English, right?
I'm not sure how a Norwegian movie would go over in the United States. I'd stick to English. :-)

No, it is in English, except for the parts where the "spaceship captain" demonstrates the "Universal Translator" on "aliens" who speak Spanish. :P
