1. You missed the option for satin.
Satin sheets and big fluffy down comforter and a feather bed.

4. Satin sheets rule.
But only good ones, not the really cheap stuff. If I slip into a bed like that, I'm out like a light almost instantly. My wife tolerates it occasionally...hehe. Guess I'm the hedonist in our house. :D Nothin' wrong with diggin' a seriously-comfy crash spot, I say.

2. Cotton.
But then this is England - we don't do really cold weather here, we bitch and moan as soon as it gets close to freezing.

11. Flannel
My husband manages to wrap himself in the blankets, but with a flannel top sheet and the 2 whippets under it, I can keep warm and cozy and never miss the blankets.

15. We go with flannel & a kitty foot warmer
The only problem is when the foot warmer wakes up at 4am and begins agitating for wet food.

16. We do get some cold winter nights in Houston....
But on other winter nights, air conditioning would be needed to make flannel sheets comfortable.

19. Flannel year round
The only acceptable flannel, though, is sold by Lands' End. When they're washed and rewashed, they get unbelievably soft, and do not pill. Maybe I should take a nap right now ;-).

21. One good thing about getting older is...
How much I appreciate little things like warm flannel sheets. I love to wrap myself up in one when I get up in the morning and have my coffee.

24. Hate flannel sheets. Cotton all the way.
Between Mr. Pcat the furnace, the two cats and the quilts he loves to have, I'm hot as it is.

So we have good cotton sheets and there's a flannel backing on one of the quilts I made for the bed.

So other than the fact that the cats think that they need to play in the middle of the night, we're good.
