5. Yesterday in class
A girl that sits beside me told me that she can't concentrate on her midterms because of her birthday: she is going to be 21.

When I realized I was EXACTLY twice her age, I started crying.

30 and 40 didn't bother me; 42 is killing me, and I don't know why!

6. I know what you mean!
I've been feeling that way for several years. Teaching kids who could literally be MY kids. It's scary! :hi:

Seriously, have a good Mardi Gras!

13. Well you gotta brine the bad beef in a mixture of
Beef Stock, sea salt, pepper, water and honey (or molasses should you so desire)

Do it overnight, 12 hours if their small steaks.

14. Sounds GOOD!
Kinda like brining a turkey? I did that this past Thanksgiving. Steaks might just have to wait til tomorrow so that I can brine them tonight. :toast:

17. So today is a wonderful day!
I can't believe that I stayed awake for 24 hours visiting with my friends on DU. I still managed 6 hours of sleep! Yay!

So please tell me. What am I supposed to do?

How does one celebrate Fat Tuesday?

23. I can do that. In fact I do that a lot every Spring.
I'm thinking about getting a manicure today if I can drag myself away from DU. I guess my nails should be kinda glitzy too.

Not as large a crowd as parades of yester year, but the music is blaring and I am going to go catch some beads!

Let the good times roll! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hope you are feeling better. :loveya:
