1. 90 or otherwise, that guy knew damn well what he was doing.
He was putting the screws to his children, and he knew it.

3. Not that any of them are starving.
I mean, God forbid they make their OWN living...

Anyway, I agree, and I think he was grateful to have some attention from a pretty girl in his last years. It's too bad she sometimes ignored him, though...

16. I agree--he chose to marry her, so she was his wife and that's the end of
it. Who knows, maybe the two of them actually loved each other--I am in no position to claim otherwise with any authority.

Blech on people and on money.

2. There was a video of them on vacation together.
He said something like he had never been able to have fun for most of his life since he worked constantly. It was obvious that she tried to make things fun for him.

He wasn't dumb-he knew she was interested in his money. He wanted her to have it-let her have some of it. Sounds like she had more to do with him at the end of his life than his children did.

I'm pretty sure he knew she wasn't sleeping with him because of his rugged good looks and washboard abs. He knew what he was getting.

And was very, very kind to him. And vice versa.

7. Unless they can prove some undue influence or fruad, I don't see why not.
He knew what he was getting with her, and appreciated the excuse to NOT give it to his kids.

This doesn't change my opinion of her, however, as an opportunistic, hillbilly loser. I find her about as sincere in her "love" for him as the average insurance salesman is about my general welfare.

15. From what I've seen...
...his son's affections are not much more sincere than Anna Nicole's.

As for her being a "hillbilly loser" - she had the wherewithal to drag herself up from being a moron working at the Dairy Queen in Mexia Texas, recreated herself as a neo-Marilyn, building a cheesy but lucrative career AND managed to bag herself an oilman. I respect that drive and determination as much as I respect any successful businessman - in fact I respect it more, because she came from nothing and even without the benefit of an average IQ managed to make something of herself. I actually admire her. She hasn't hurt anyone who wasn't every bit as much a phony opportunist as herself.

19. You can admire her all you want.
But I will most certainly not be including her in my list of suggested role models should I be lucky enough to have a daughter one day.

I really love this line "...and managed to bag herself an oilman". Classy.

25. She was not an opportunistic at all
The definition:

"Taking advantage unethically of any circumstance of possible benefit."

She did nothing unethical, nor did he. They were both very above board about the whole thing.

The fact that the old man's son hired lawyers to forge docs and eliminate the trust the old man was supposed to have set up for her should not be rewarded.

22. There's a much bigger question here
That of the SC deciding to take away a state's right to manage probate matters.

Probably wouldn't affect you or me but if you'd win a large powerball or become the next Bill Gates, the government could be the one with the final say as to where your estate would be settled no matter what you wanted.

So, of course the WH is supporting ANS's suit, rubbing their hands and thinking of all the glorious money they'll now be able to put their hands on.

24. And yet they oppose the estate tax, how odd...
Honestly, for a bunch of people who preach constantly about pulling up bootstraps, they sure are vehement about making sure rich snot kids can inherit every penny of their parents' billions tax-free. I hoave long thought that the tax on estates over $5 mil should be MORE confiscatory. Make your OWN money, rich slacker brats!

26. If she made him happy, and he left her the money, she should get it.
Although I have a very different opinion about my mom's weird boyfriend and her money. Not that I really care about whether I inherit any money from her, but I do have concerns about him taking advantage of her after the inevitable day when my grandpa dies and leaves my mom a lot of money.

The difficult thing about is that she just won't listen to anybody on the subject.

40. I'm pretty sure the chin is natural.
She's always had a prominent chin - it has just gotten more so because she has lost so much weight. The nose however looks altered. Pity, her old nose was perfectly fine.

I still think she's very beautiful. Her looks seem so incongruous with her slothlike, dull-witted personality, though. Most of those playboy types are a bit bubble-headed, but at least have some spark of life in their brains, but Anna Nicole just seems like she would be the most insufferably boring person on earth in person.

37. I actually saw a piece on TV months ago about the two of them.
I believe that Anna Nicole should get the money. As others have said, he knew exactly what he was doing when he married her.

The piece I watched had all sorts of pictures and video of them together. Private time during the holidays, vacations, and so forth. Regardless of her motives, it was obvious that she made him happy during the final years of his life. I think that's what ultimately counts.
