I'm going to look at breaking a crown in positive light.
Hey, at least it wasn't a real tooth! Hey, at least the dentist won't have to drill as much when he replaces it! I'm going with gold this time. Gold is malleable, porcelain is too hard and cracks.

2. When I got my crown
the doc said gold and porcelain cost the same. I can't imagine not choosing gold in that situation.
