This is at Bob Jones University, because you love your country, right, and wouldn't go to some secualr or state-run liberal Satan-run institution?

4. Nope.
Arkansas Tech University - Russellville, AR. I did have a piano teacher that graduated with all three degrees from Bob Jones. Very strange individual. As if having three music degrees didn't make you strange enough...

9. Bachelor of Music Education
in Choral Music. For some reason ATU has one of the best education departments around, I've been really fortunate.

11. University of Central Arkansas,
Edited on Wed Dec-03-03 11:00 PM by ChoralScholar
where I completed the first 4 years of my degree, has a 3-summer master's program. So I intend to start my Master of Music Education there this summer, and take a middle school or high school choral job this fall. By the time I begin my third year of teaching, I should have my MME completed. Beyond that, after I put in some time at the high school level, then I intend to complete a PhD at Northwestern. That's the plan anyway.

EDIT: Clarity

Sounds like an impressive plan. And after the ph.D., then off to teaching university? Maybe take Flummerfeld's job?

13. Congratulations!
I'll bet you feel on top of the world, as well you should. What a great accomplishment.

So, who's your favorite choral composer? I love Vaughan Williams and Britten, and of course Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach.
