Poll question: Should I relinquish my US citizenship? |
|
We are moving back to Japan permanently in two weeks' time. For personal, and financial reasons mostly, but I am eager to get out of the US due to the present socio-political climate as well. I hate that I share a country with Freeper filth.
But what I'm wondering is this? Should I relinquish my US citizenship to become a Japanese citizen, thus save the trouble of having to go renew my visa every 3 years at the immigration and fully commit to living there, or should I keep my US citizenship so I can vote in US sham elections, and come back to visit without any hassle at immigration?

2. If you don't mind "rabbit hutch" housing! |

Okay, so my wife's hometown is not Tokyo, and it's not quite that cramped. It is a bit of an adjustment though.
I lived there until from 1995-2000, and I never thought I'd miss it, but I really really do. It's not for everyone, though...
