1. Oh just think we haven't seen the GRAND closing sequence yet

I can only imagine that it will tie the whole rest of the show together.

:scared:

2. Johnny Gentle, Famous Crooner
from Infinite Jest (shoot our wastes into space!)

Or possibly President Merkin Muffly from Dr Strangelove.

6. Gentle was a great statesman, baby.
You're either with US, or you're with the Nucks.

(The Outsized Feral Infant was the Bin Laden of Gentle's term in office, btw)

8. Yeah, and Rodney Tine...
was his Rove AND Cheney, all in one (subsidised time wasn't all that bad an idea, though).

3. George W, Bush, no doubt.
A very, very distant second would be Bill Pullman in "Independence Day"

5. Would have to be George

I love the title of the show, since this is the only time in the history of the free world that 'Chimps' and 'Variety' have ever been used in the same sentence.

The guy is so predictable, I don't know how he stays on the air.

12. Logan is actually growing on me
Yeah he is weak and unfit but you at least get the impression he cares which is more than I can say for the other fictional president who doesn't give two shits about anything other than lining his buddies pockets with cash.

14. That's true.
At first, I thought he was just incompetent, but now he seems incompetent but with an actual soul. The VP character seems WAY creepy, but that's just Ray Wise's talent, I guess.
