I'm going to go make dinner. |
|
When I come back, I want you all in your seats, working on something important. And I don't want any noise. Behave.

May I go dust the erasers for you? Is play-doh toxic if you eat it? Will boogers give me worms?

Don't dust the Play-Doh. Boogers are gross.

I made szchechuan stir fry with tofu, sugar snap peas, carrots, celery, spinach and with a side of brown rice. I was supposed to go out to dinner with my mom, but I was "dressed like a dyke" so she left without me.

I'm dressed like a dyke, too. ;) Sorry your Mom was mean to you. :(
I am addicted to cheese and taco sauce quesadillas, with sides of rice, and carrots with creamy italian dressing on them.
But your dinner was much more healthy. I hope you enjoyed it. :) Sounds good!

15. I had leftover Buffalo wings... |

But I did run 2.5 miles today. The best part though was the after-dinner cigarette.

My mom had been good in the last couple years. She just reverted tonight. Apparently, if you wear green board shorts from abercrombie with a white abercrombie tank you are not a dyke, but if you wear camo board shorts from abercrombie with a white abercrombie dyke, you're dressed like a dyke.
Yeah, my heterosexual sister was dressed almost identical but she was dressed "okay." Sometimes I regret moving back home.
Dinner was good though and my grandmother enjoyed it as well. She also offered to buy me sneakers, which I desperately need.

My grandmothers died decades ago.
I take back what I said about being dressed like a dyke. Compared to you and your sis, I'm dressed like a slob. ;)

23. My grandmother has always lived with my mother. |
|
When I was little kid, we rented an apt out of her building. My dad would pay me to go upstairs when I got annoying. Then my parents and my grandparents bought a house together. My mom got remarried last summer and ended up with a huge house. They built a little apt for my grandmother on the side. She was happy I ended up making dinner. For a woman that keeps insisting vegetarian ways will result in malnutrition (hasn't yet and it had time), she loves it everytime we make tofu for dinner.
I had a crazy landlord that, in additon to being crazy, jacked my rent up, so I moved back with my mom. I'm actually a pretty spiffy dresser. Today is a lazy day, but it's still decent clothes. I'm the sort of lesbian that can pass as a male if I want to fuck with people, but can also pull off a black cocktail dress and stillettos. I just wish I got hit on by women as much as I do men.

. . . and to all of your dreams coming true. Thanks for sharing these bits and pieces of your life, haruka. :)
I'm from your basic middle class family, except my dad died when I was 23. I played music professionally for a long time, but gave it up and went back to school.
Now I'm a divorced, overweight, 52 year old lawyer. But I like my life. :)

But my stepdad's pretty cool. I get along better with him than my mom. I was always daddy's girl though. I look like him and I have his bad-ass, but kind attitude.
What kind of music did you play? I never really got into music, but I'm a theatre junkie. I'm just about to get into Actors' Equity (the union) for stage management.
