"Hotel Rwanda" didn't make me cry. I have no soul.
It was sad (incredibly so), but I haven't cried at a movie since I was five. To compare, I have friends (large guy friends) who cried at the end of "King Kong," and therefore I have no soul.

Discuss.

1. I almost did
It really saddened me and pissed me off even ore than Schindler's List. After seeing that movie I've been of the thought, indifference is the worst sin, it really is.

2. I still am a bawling mess at the end of "Field Of Dreams"
When Kevin Costner says, "Hey Dad? Want to have a catch?", i'm a blubbering tub of goo. Freaked Mrs. E out first time she watched it w/ me..

3. The last movie to make me cry was Masters of the Universe...
When Skeletor captured He-man and was torturing him.

8. I started bawling about 10 minutes into it
and didn't stop.

Don't even get me started on the "Shake Hands with the Devil" documentary. Lots of  and :grr:

10. What made it upsetting to me more so than Schindler's List
is that our government knew the evils of genocide and even knew what was going on. For his not intervening there, I don't consider myself a big Clinton fan. I don't hate the man but I am not a fan I guess you could say. It is our duty as the most powerful nation in the world to promote human rights.

11. Believe it or not, I've never seen Schindler's List,
but Hotel Rwanda was by far the best movie I've seen in a long, long time.

12. Thats one you need to see
Moved me profoundly. I nearly cried after seeing it in a film class, I was like my people did this sigh, (I am 25% German) and it was just so sad, the music is what moves me in these films every single time.

13. women for women international I have supported
for 3 years..always given a Rwandan woman for a year...beautiful letters they sent me.. feel guilty as never responded.

Last year was sent a letter saying "dear lady..I appreciate your support but more than anything I want to hear from you"

When I saw the movie....it broke my heart as my ladies I supported were missing limbs...and had no idea they were nearly hacked to death by machetes. They watched their husbands dying. The horror of it all...

highly recommend womenforwomeninternational....great place to donate.

14. I'm sure you have a soul. It's not like you post at FreeRepublic.
TV/Movies don't make me cry either. Even real life situations rarely bring tears to my eyes, but that's not to say I can't be moved by them or get just as depressed.

15. Only one thing makes me cry:
when I'm personally frustrated that my life isn't working out as I want it to. Only time I get teary.
