early here in Central Arkansas. I think it was May last year. Anyway, I'll bet these overwintered. It would be neat to see many times the normal number, but it wouldn't be right. You know?

quality to it, imo. It's all funny, though, because they are not flies or "bugs" strictly speaking, they are beetles. Bug is used specifically for a type of insect, by the way. Anyway....."bio-luminescent flying beetles" would probably be more correct but I still like firefly.
