Yes, I'll admit it: I have NEVER bought anything on eBay before. It's just not my thang.
But, I recently received a $50 gift certificate for my birthday to spend on Ebay, and I have no idea how it works.
Can any of you eBay fans out there give me some tips or ideas? Thanks! Do I have to register, to use a gift certificate? How does the bidding vs. buying it straight out work? It all seems so complicated...

Or something that you just can't find in a store? You can find just about anything on Ebay. You'd be surprised. Type in some keywords to see what they bring up. I usually get things for my kids. Today I ordered missing books from a set of beginning reading series that I picked up for my son at the local children's consignment store. My favorite thing that I have gotten is a handmade patchwork apron shirt. The girl asked for my measurements and my favorite colors and made this great shirt for me. Have fun browsing through :-)

I guess I'll just browse and get a "lay of the land", so to speak. I can't think of anything in particular that I need, at the moment.
It's kind of fun, though, to have this money to spend...
