Anyone else have tornadoes in their area this p.m.?

We had 'em here in the Belleville IL area. A death in the nearby town of Fairview....

I just moved up here from, ahem, south Louisiana. And it was intense. I'm staying w/ friends. They are gone. 17 yr old son here and girlfriend here though. I was downstairs in basement and unaware anything was happening. They come down, he's bleeding all over his hands and head from a window that blew out. Crazy. (He was sitting near it and got cut from instinctively putting his hands to natty, glass filled hair.) I cleaned him up good. No need for stitches, IMO, just lots of horrorshow blood from 4 spots in scalp and 3-4 each hand. (You know how bad those can bleed.) When power came back on, I vacuumed his dreads for 45 minutes or so.

Got plastic up on the window that blew out as well.

I know each has its drawbacks but at least hurricanes give you some lead time. Jeesh.

Anyhow, saw online about severe storms and tornado watch/warnings in 6-7 states. Hope y'all are ok.

"same old friends, the wind and rain...."

edit: Want to clarify I'm not certain if this was tornado here. It was 4-5 miles up road, but this may have been strong gusts, associated microbursts, what have you. Like I said, I missed most of it down in the basement mixing music really loud...
