1. I used Match.com for about a year
And it was awful. Way to many dishonest ads, and i'm not talking little things, and way too many crazy people. One girl I met, on our first and only date, got totaly smashed at the resuarant and started cursing other patrons as well as the staff before passing out at the table. ugg, never again.

2. Everyone's crazy. It's a matter of how compatible their craziness is.

8. I don't mean just crazy odd, I mean crazy nuts
Another time, I went on a date with a girl and it just did not feel right. At the end of the date, I told her it had been a nice time but that I did not feel we would be compatible for a long term relationship and that I was going to continue looking. She completely freaked out, started screaming at me and hitting me. I ran back to my car and left. When I got home there was a message from her telling what a great time she had and how she couldn't wait to see me again, I was like WTF? I ignored the message. The next morning, she was at my apartment, standing outside screaming again about what a bastard I was for just dumping her after all we had been though... again, WTF? I went outside and told her to leave or I'd call the cops, fortunately she left.

5. Did you leave her passed out at the table?
I would have.

And left her with the check.

After I ordered dessert to go.

I carried her to her car and put her in it. I even got her a bottle of water and some asprin for when she came to and left the window cracked a bit.

10. Online meeting & greeting is such a fraud.
I think if you're desperate, then you could probably hook up with someone equally as desperate. I avoid those folk like the plague. Most of those sites are padded with bogus profiles or those long abandoned and kept alive as bait.

I met one woman who didn't resemble her photo due to cosmetic surgery. A pity. I thought she was more attractive "before". Though a couple years later she finally put up a current photo. Personality wise, we didn't click.

Early on, I experiemented with profiles on a bunch of meeting sites. Since then, I've deleted most. Except for a couple that so far seem legit - plus I'm not paying anything.
