The first thing that happens is you get your underwear mixed up in the laundry.

6. Surprising

I "shacked up" with someone for a year, and we never had the last name problem. :shrug:

8. Hubby and I shacked up for a couple of years before we

got married, and I never had the name problem. The only "stinkeye" we got was from the mother of our next-door neighbor. Apparently, our quiet ways and penchant for staying out of other people's business was too heathen for Mommy---she was an evangelical fundie. :(
