So I've had a cell phone for almost two months now, |
|
and I have never called anyone, except my husband, from the store. I don't even know my own phone number, and I lost the phone inside my pocket for over a week. THIS is why pre-paid was a good idea. I'm just burning through the minutes.

1. That's why my cell is a pay-as-you-go Virgin cell |
|
Because I think I've used it three times since Christmas...

4. I like knowing I have it, in case my car breaks down, or something. |
|
That's pretty much why I got it- that and so I can be reached when I'm at class.

2. It took me a few months to learn my phone number. |

If I put the damned thing on vibrate or silent, I'm really out of luck.

3. I would have to call my friend to ask her what my number is. |

She has it, but she's never called me on it.:D I haven't given it to anyone else, because people call the house too much as it is.

5. You know what is the worst thing? |
|
I'm paying $30 a month for a stupid camera phone that I can't even use at my house, or anywhere in my neighborhood. Cingular apparently doesn't have a tower in the area, or if they do it is far, far shorter than the trees. Good fuck, I have to nearly lean my head against one specific window in my bedroom in order to get *maybe* three bars.
Oh yeah, it's great for an emergency.
I could use it to call my family (who all live out of state) since I have a nation-wide call plan. But I'd have to have reception.....

31. Same with me...if I want to use my long distance minutes, I have |
|
to jump in my car and drive a couple of miles. I have Cingular, also.

I listed myself in the address book so that I could find the number when I needed to know. I'm the only person listed under C for Clueless. :P

|
I haven't gone anywhere in five years that someone isn't calling me...Mom, when are you coming home? Mom, can Patrick come over? Mom, can you pick me up some eye liner? Mommy, Michael's being mean to me.
It. Sucks. If it weren't for the fact that I would probably run out of gas and need it, I would leave the little fucker home. The phone that is, not the kid.

15. I have a cell phone (personal) and a Blackberry (work). |
|
I never use either one of them, and I couldn't tell you the phone number for either of them either.
Oh, and I work in telecommunications.

I lost a container of Carmex in my purple rain jacket for a year.
I knew it was in there, I just couldn't find it, until the fateful day when I misplaced the key to the project site, and emptied my pockets in front of the bossman.
When I found it I almost DIED laughing. He was not amused.

I even kind of like the scent. I know alot of people don't, but there are some vanilla notes in there that I dig.

not only do I not know my own phone number, I don't even know how to answer the thing if someone calls me...which will probably never happen because I never turn it on-----emergency-use-only.

32. I just switched to prepaid, but there's a hitch |
|
The company transferred my previous cell phone number---to the wrong phone. I'm waiting for them to get it untangled. :-(
Once it's transferred, though, I expect to save a lot of money.
