I am turning the big 50 this summer. I am not much of one for the traditional surprise parties, though my husband loves to throw these for me for big occasions and I am always telling him not to. I heard about someone having a slumber party with their girlfriends when they turned 50 and then they all went out to brunch the next day. If I am going to have to have a party I think I would rather do this. My question is - what do we do for entertainment besides drink and talk? I am in school right now so I have wide age range of friends. Ages will probably be from 20-60. Besides a stripper, what do we do for entertainment?

5. start collecting hats of all kinds...everyone has to pick one out |
|
and wear it for the evening...
such a little thing but, you'd be surprised how it can get things going...
get all kinds...look in used clothing stores for vintage hats, cowboy hats, ball caps, beanies, what ever...
