Poll question: Best vacation destination in the US?
Where do DUers like to go on vacation?
I live in San Diego and thats tough to beat. So my favotite vacation areas are the Bay Area and New England.

I'm a history buff, and both the mainland and island forts are fascinating. If they didn't charge you your soul to stay in the Grand Hotel, i'd give it a try

9. Florida Keys are awesome.
However, I will point out one spot not on the list which I just love:
YELLOWSTONE and the surrounding region.

Wyoming/Montana/Idaho is extraordinarily beautiful;

18. Key West is surprisingly varied
from low life to sophisticated eateries, from interesting historical neighborhoods to party-till-you-puke kinda things.

We found a Victorian B&B on a beach, which ain't easy.

40. Well, it does have the Bohemian Cafe.
It was recommended by friend who was raised in Omaha. Hands down the best meal we had on a very long I-80 trip.

I don't like Vegas, and I know that puts me in a rather small minority (which makes me cooler, btw, but that also is a matter for debate :7).

34. The Southwest National Parks are incredible.
Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion, Arches -- AMAZING scenery.

I love the Bay Area, but I grew up there, so I don't view it as vacation area so much as visiting home and family.
