Do they make vegetarian veal? |
I know they make veggie turkey, sausage, chicken, hot dogs and more. What about veal?

2. I have a friend who swears my breaded eggplant resembles veal |
Edited on Wed Apr-05-06 06:36 PM by LeftyMom
I've never had veal (even as an omnivore I knew better than *that*) and as a result can't tell you if the resemblance is a strong one, but she swears it is.
I'm guessing there'd be little market for a commercial substitute, but maybe not. I mean, people buy hufu, that's pretty distrubing, too.

5. texture wise it's a little different |

15. I do...I just chain some tofu up when it's still young, |
and feed it lots of nutrient-rich stuff while keeping it confined, and then slaughter it before it gets too old.
