My children's father -my ex- has just finished an exhaustive round of chemo for leukemia. It requires 'fortitude' from what he's told me. He was treated down at the Anderson Clinic in Houston. They apparently are doing some great things with this awful disease which runs in our family. Please keep us apprised.

platelets. You can donate. Contact your local blood center or Red Cross. YOU can actively do something. Go. If you're in Wisconsin it's 1-800-Be-A-Hero. If for any reason you can not be a donor, you know someone who can that isn't currently. Talk

An average platelet donation can take up to an hour or two. Some centers are set up so donors can watch movies, read books during the process.

I love your advice.

Everyone should do what they can. Donate your blood! If you are able to.

Be an organ donor - your death could mean someone else's life. DO IT! It matters. A lot.

I used to think - Live fast, die young, leave a goodlooking corpse! But what use is that?


It's simple folks, there is a litte box on your driver's licence. Check it!

And calll your local Red Cross - it ain't scary and they give you orange juice. Kindergarten! And you might save someone's life.
