What's the status of Trent Lott's porch? |

On his way back from fund raising, de facto President Bush, stopped off at Trent Lott's Katrina smashed house and mumbled some platitudes about how he was going to sit on the porch some day, implying that the government would help Trent rebuild it.
He promised all sorts of aid, just like he promised a balanced budget, prosperity, WMD, a cake walk, a humble foreign policy, protection of the environment and so on.
I'm wondering what the status of Trent Lott's porch is. Is it something like Baghdad?

3. Bush's promise to fix the porch was just a "verandah act". |

5. I'll bet he gets better treatment in the end than you do. |
|
Of course in his case, whatever difficulty he does face constitutes reaping what he sowed.
