What's the status of Trent Lott's porch?
Edited on Fri Apr-07-06 07:20 PM by NNadir
On his way back from fund raising, de facto President Bush, stopped off at Trent Lott's Katrina smashed house and mumbled some platitudes about how he was going to sit on the porch some day, implying that the government would help Trent rebuild it.

He promised all sorts of aid, just like he promised a balanced budget, prosperity, WMD, a cake walk, a humble foreign policy, protection of the environment and so on.

I'm wondering what the status of Trent Lott's porch is. Is it something like Baghdad?

1. I am sure he had plenty of money to have it rebuilt himself
by some undocumented workers no doubt.

3. Bush's promise to fix the porch was just a "verandah act".
Sorry, couldn't resist.

4. Like the rest of us
He has been hung out to dry by the insurance companies that showed a record 44 billion dollar profit last year!

:argh:

That'll show 'em Chester Lott, give those corporations the rights of individuals and they will treat you right forevah!

5. I'll bet he gets better treatment in the end than you do.
Of course in his case, whatever difficulty he does face constitutes reaping what he sowed.
