I can't sleep. Help me before I kill something or punch a hole in my wall
It's 1:15 AM. I am awake. After what has been the world most rapid decline in mood (decent to shit in about five minutes this afternoon), I really wish I were asleep. But I can't sleep. Things keep running through my mind. Things that make me cringe in disgust and want to punch something. Now. Ich bin wach. You estoy despierto. Tá mé i mo shuí. Jeg er våken. It's 1:15 AM and I'm still fucking awake! :banghead: <- sleep, damn you! Sleep!

3. Ugh. Medication.
:puke:

(I was going to post something else, but I'm sure it would have attracted a flame war, which I really can't handle right now.)

Thanks, though. :)

5. I really try to avoid medication or pills.
I've seen what relying on it does to people. In a roundabout way, it's kind of why I can't sleep now...and why I'm so angry (or who I'm so angry with).

is too try some light exercises, take a hot bath, not a shower, and than turn off everything in your room and hit they hey. Maybe listening to some soft music will help

14. I'm kind of like that too.
Not GnR per se, but heavier stuff works well for me. Slower stuff ends up giving me an earworm and keeping me up. x(

:)

16. That might be it.
I do sleep well in a car or a plane because of the rhythm.

17. i fell asleep in the car the other day listening to system of a down
Edited on Sat Apr-08-06 01:35 AM by Ava
and falling asleep in the car is highly unusual for me. it's hard for me to fall asleep in the car without waking up every few seconds. my mom thinks it's because of a really bad car accident my brother and I were in when we were little. i had fallen asleep in the back of the car and my brother was sitting in the front of the car with my aunt. we did a head-on collision with another car and my carseat and I went flying out the back window and luckily i landed in bush(the paramedics said it was a miracle.) my aunt was fine, but the side of the car my brother was in was crushed in and it took them a while to get him out. he had hit his head on the dashboard and busted it. he was in surgery for over 8 hours and he almost died, but amazingly enough he was absolutely 100% ok when surgery was over(besides having a small scar underneath his hair where you can't see it.) we were very lucky but the people in the other car were not. the person in the passenger's seat was ok with a few broken bones, but the driver died on the scene.

anyways, i'm done with my little flashback. :)

4. Use a good, thick book. Use it just like that smiley in your post.
Please don't take that seriously.

10. Getting angry at the fact that you can't sleep is counterproductive....
My dear ZombieNixon......

Try to relax.....

Go have some milk and cookies....Milk has tryptophan, which is a natural sleep aid....

And then lie down in a quiet dark room......and relaxxxxxxx.........zzzzzzz.......

Sweetest of dreams!

11. Don't try to fall asleep...
Keep yourself busy until it does happen.. No point in lying in bed for three hours when you could be doing something else with that time.

Learn Python with your spare time.
