Who Else Has Seen "A History of Violence"?

Watched it on DVD last night; TERRIFIC movie. Viggo Mortensen is outstanding, and Ed Harris and William Hurt are absolutely bone-chilling as a couple of bad guys.

If "Brokeback Mountain" was destined to lose Best Picture this year, it should have been to this flick, not "Crash." Highly recommended.....

1. yeah, good flick
great tribute to 50s noir

the best orchestrated sequence was the scene in the front yard with ed harris

i liked the quiet intensity of the last few scenes too - you could see cronenberg's style more clearly in those

definitely the best thing he's done in a while

i didn't like spider too much

3. It Dawned On Me After I Watched It......
....that the basic story was used in several good westerns---evil gunfighter changes his life over the years, has a family and becomes a model citizen, only to have his past come riding into town....

i actually liked eXistenZ a lot, though i may be one of the few
