did you know...
that it takes 7 years for your tummy to completely digest a cherry?

My co-worker (bartender) told me that tonight.

dayum! and I ate like three or four at the bar the other night :wow:

6. Meat definitely takes longer to digest.
It stays in your colon for an unhealthy period of time. That being said, I do find maraschino cherries very scary and gross. Normal cherries you would definitely digest quickly.

Your stomach breaks everything down within hours. Cherries are carbs/sugars, which digest pretty fast. Fats takes the longest, but I don't think it takes more than 8-12 hours for anything.
If your stomach can't digest something, it will just pass it along to the intestine, like if you swallow a coin or something.



And there is no formaldehyde in maraschino cherries.
