For the 5th night in a row , I have dreamed about a baby . |
|
I don't know if this is weird or not but for the 5th night in a row , I have had a dream about a baby . Last night I had a dream that I went into a room and on the bed was a giant round pillow and right beside it all cuddled and protected was a baby girl wearing a pink onesie (sp?) and when I got on my knees up close and looked at her , she began to open her eyes . She was the most adorable baby I have ever seen - my clock must be starting to tick . I am about to be 26 in some months - this is weird - I do envy people who have kids - maybe its a sign that I am wanting to settle down . But back to the baby in my dream - she was so cute . In the dream I picked her up , placed her on my chest and closed my eyes and went to sleep in my dream and I felt so at peace - and then I woke up . My cell phone went off - wrong number but good dream ...

All my dreams are weird or nightmares.
If you are looking for someone to settle down with, I'm available. I'll send you my "stats" if you want them. :)

2. The baby could also represent your own Inner Child. |
|
A lot of times the "others" in our dreams simply represent parts of ourselves we are trying to integrate. In any case, I think it's beautiful that you held her so closely and felt so much at peace. If it's been 5 nights in a row of baby dreams, your subconscious is clearly trying to communicate with you, imo. I would suggest doing some journal writing, if you are into that, to delve deeper into what it could mean for you.

It happens once or twice a year and it is never a good dream. I am either trying to run away from something or I need to say or scream something and I can't. And when I try and finally a sound comes out of my mouth I wake up to my own screams
Damn, that sounded scary - it really is not... As I said it only happens once or twice a year. I envy people capable of dreaming

4. Everybody dreams, it whether you remember them or not that matters |
|
some people believe it's possible to cultivate remembering one's dreams by keeping a dream journal by one's bedside.

I took a nap and had a dream about a pit bull at a party. There was a lot of people there. It must have been somebody's birthday. Anyway, this pit bull would not stop biting at me. Nobody seemed concerned. I let her clamp onto my arm and I dragged her outside where I left her.
I love dogs and I don't have anything against pit bulls.

6. Examining how you felt in the dream tells you a lot. |
|
Were you annoyed at the dog? Angry? Scared? Resigned? What do Pit bull dogs represent you you?
Pit bulls are known for their tenacious grip, so perhaps the dog is trying get you to pay attention to something specific.
Your dream seems to be clearly indicating some push/pull dynamics going on. You "let her" clamp your arem, but then you "dragged her" outside....where you left her.
Interesting. I'm just free-associating here, it doesn't have to "mean" anything. :D Only YOU can decide that, my friend.
I find dreams to be fascinating and a powerful tool for personal insight. :hi:

8. I'd say I was cautious and annoyed with the dog |
|
I'm thinking that the dog could represent some aspect of myself that I have a hard time controlling sometimes. I can have a quick tounge (bite) and sometimes I have to reel myself in. But there is the fact that nobody at the party was concerned. Perhaps that is an indication that I'm too polite sometimes and should loosen up.

11. My friend took a dream course |
|
The teacher told them to take Viamin B-6 if they were not remembering their dreams. I had read that a long time ago, too, and tried it, and it did seem to work.

7. Sounds like you have accepted responsibility. |
|
Either for yourself and your own happiness, or for some major undertaking. I suppose it could be that your sub-conscious is telling you that you really DO want to be a parent, but usually, that kind of stuff would be more evident to you in how you feel about the dream.
Dreams, IMO, are sometimes the way we do our mental "housecleaning." If you have stuff that you maybe didn't mull over during the day, it can come back up for resolution in dreams. Other times, if it is a message from your psyche, it can manifest that same way, however it is usually in a very personal language. What do babies (little girl ones, especially) mean to you? Are you maybe feeling like a "baby" at some point in the day? Do you feel that you are starting over in some major way in your life?
I never have put much stock in the dream interpretation books, but maybe that is because my language use is pretty colorful ordinarily. I am "slang heavy" a lot of times and that manifests in my dreams too. I dream about teeth when I am "chewing over" an idea, for instance. Is that applicable for you as well?
Either way, I think if it was me, I'd be really up to date on my contraceptives these days unless you WANT a baby... Just in case!
