Food combinations that sound weird, but are actually good |
|
I'll start - the peanut butter and spinach sandwich. Sounds weird, but it's actually quite tasty. You must use natural peanut butter, baby spinach, and a good whole grain bread.

salt and Tabasco Sauce.
A cup of small curd low-fat cottage cheese, salt enough to taste (but not too salty) and then drop, drop, drops of Tabasco Sauce...then scoop all this up with Fritos chips....yum, yummy.

12. Jam and cheese sandwiches. |
|
I have no idea why people look at me funny when I say I enjoy them. I'm not talking about Velveeta and grape jelly! I'm talking about good cheese and real jam or preserves, with real fruit in it.
Fruit and cheese are a natural combination. My favorite jam and cheese sandwiches are Swiss with Concord grape or blackberry jam and sharp Cheddar with strawberry or raspberry jam.
