Anyone catch the Darren Daulton interview on ESPN? End Times.

Former Phillie star Darren Daulton was interviewed on ESPN yesterday, saying that the world will end in 2012. But in a metaphysical way. http://www.deadspin.com/sports/darren-daulton/darren-daulton-has-gone-plum-damn-crazy-155506.php

"“That will be the end of this dispensation. I really don’t know how to explain it. I don’t know what words to use so people won’t think I’m goofy. But by Dec. 21, 2012 , people will have a pretty good idea. It’s all about consciousness and love. We have the ability to create whatever we want. We’re all made of energy.”

He claims that at the end of his career, some of his hits were'nt his doing. Like an out of body base hit accomplished with the help of a higher source. Some are calling him "Nuts". His ex-teammates were supporting his sanity.
Daulton didnt come off as someone who's "nuts", he was clear, seemingly sane and didnt insert religion at all.
His claim is that on December 21 2012 we will all be leaving this existence, with some of us going to one place and others to other places. The interview was bizarre in a subtle manner.

This was the strangest ESPN story I have ever seen.
Anyone else see that?
