My house is so totally out of control right now.
My daughter and I are college shopping right now and trying to figure out what schools she should visit before the May 1 deadline. All of the schools are five hours away. She's been accepted to a slew of them. I am also trying to find adequate financial aid. Which means I got to get the income taxes done. We are also trying to get thru her senior year of HS and get ready for prom and softball season. She also sings on the side and is getting ready to record another commercial CD and fulfill her extracurricular volunteering obligations. As well as get ready for a trip to NYC next week with the HS band. Not her commerical band.

I can't remember the last time I fed the dog or took a shower. And this morning, there was this kid sitting at the dining room table and Holy Smokes, it was my younger son. Where has he been and what has he been doing? When was the last time I fed him? I asked him if I had been ignoring him, and he said, "Mom, I'm good, don't worry about me. Do what you have to do."

I ran out of toilet paper on Saturday. Thank God for Subway napkins.
I did nine loads of laundry today.... and bought toilet paper. One of my clients called today for a full worked up powerpoint presentation due this Wednesday.

I truly don't think I have been more stressed out in my life...ever!

And here I am having a glass of wine and posting on DU. go figure!

3. Cheers, Mom!
It sounds like you raised them right. Congrats!

Look, the housework can wait till tomorrow. You deserve to put your feet up for a few minutes. :toast:

On top of everything I belong to the Sunshine Club which does volunteer work. I have to make 32 finger sandwiches for a 10 AM wake tomorrow and two dozen cookies. My house is so dirty right now, dog shedding time and mud season, I may have to make the sandwiches and cookies out in the car which is the cleanest place here this afternoon. I would even stoop so low right now to call over Laura Bush and her bleach!

On edit, I am so truly kidding about Laura and the bleach.
