The following features are available on DU or in life

"Hide thread" is available, anything that irritates anyone can be hidden so they control their own irritation for any perceived transgression.
Those that continued to antagonize after you stated it bothered you should use the feature known as common decency or class.

It's pretty ridiculous when one needs to apologize for simply saying goodnight.

Btw...you vacation pics were nice...we have a Hare Krishna vegetarian restaurant here in Laguna Beach...I loved to eat there and hear the chanting in the background since the front was the restaurant and the back was the church...the Krishnas also chant on Main Beach on some days...quite joyful music
