My Dog Gave Me an Extra Gray Hair Today.

We walk every day in our back field. My mother has even cut little trails for us so we can stay out of the high growth to avoid deer ticks. Well as we were walking along the hedge row, I stopped to let the dog sniff and investigate like she usually does, and I looked up at a cardinal, the next thing I look back down, the dog grabs something and begins to eat it, even though I told her to drop it, and leave it, both commands she knows and usually follows. I even gave her a little jerk on the leash. She swallowed whatever it was anyway before I could grab it out of her mouth. :-(

Thank heavens what ever it was wasn't poisionous, but I just hope whatever it was didn't have disease in it, or bugs, that cause disease. That will teach me too look away even for a minute. :eyes:
