Poll question: How much does Guns-n-Roses suck? |
|
"Welcome to the Jungle" just finished on my cubemate's radio, and I usually hear "You Could Be Mine" at least once a day from the same source.
Ah, Pittsburgh!

3. I think Appetite For Destruction is one of the great rock albums |
|
Lies was ok, Use Your Illusion I & II sucked somewhat, and The Spaghetti Incident sucked a lot.

It was refreshing to see a rock band after putting up with all those years of bands like Ratt, Poison, Cinderella and so on. I was a bit surprised to see Slash playing a Les Paul. Those pointy guitars were too pointy. I really only liked their first album and a little of the second.

7. I think Appetite for Destruction is a classic! |
|
True, it's overplayed, and certainly Axle's recent antics don't help their legacy, but I still think they were a great band!

16. A solid band with a mass suckage singer |
|
They would have a much better legacy if they had hired a real singer instead of torturing an ocelot to get their vocals. I think they were pretty damn good as a band, though their songwriting was not that great. No matter, though: I can't listen to them at all. As soon as Assle opens his mouth, it's time to change the station.

GnR might be talented, but I don't care for the style. Then again, I've never been a big hair metal fan.
