Supposedly the day of the Last Supper. Hehehehehe. Maundy. It's a funny word. Where's it come from? Maundy, from Middle English maunde, the ceremony of washing the feet of the poor on this day from Old French mande from Latin (novum) manda:tum or (new) mandate, after Jesus' words to the apostoles after washing their feet.
So...be a good Christian and go out and wash the feet of poor people. :)
