People are funny (aka ridiculous) |

My neighbor is outside talking loud enough so I can obviously hear about how she's sick of my dogs. Has never said a word to me. :wtf: FWIW, I am very respectful about the dogs, they bark, they come in. They aren't constant barkers, but they will bark if another dog or person walks by.

1. Don't you love it when people pull that kind of shit? Isn't she an adult? |
|
Why can't she approach you and say something? I would compare this to people who walk past me when I'm smoking, and pretend to cough....that shit just irritates the hell out of me.

and say 'if you have a problem, grow a spine and tell me to my face. Otherwise, shut the fuck up, because listening to you bitch is NOT helping my mood.'
That's what I'd do, anyway. But I'm a bastard.

I really do. It would be one thing if your neighbor had talked to you about his/her concerns and been ignored. But some people would rather have something to piss and moan about than fix a problem in an easy and civilized way -- like communicating well with others.
:eyes:
Blech. The more I think about it, the more I think that would bother me until I did something about it. I would probably just call or stop by to see the neighbor and be friendly but direct. I'd tell them I overheard their comments and was really sorry they had some issues with my dogs, and ask what they thought the solution might be. You'll either get a surprised and a little ashamed reply, and maybe put an end to the complaining - or a stupid snarky response like "sell your dogs" which you can roundly ignore with a clear conscience because at least one of you made the effort to be an adult about it all.

5. You're exactly correct. It's the right thing to do, and puts the dog owner |
|
in the position of making the effort to resolve the perceived problem.
