I need to rip two new songs to my brand new Zen...
I want something I can walk fast to, make me glad it's a wonderful day.

I listen to anything so genre doesn't mattter (my walking music playlist includes classical, rap, rock, old time country, R&B...)

C'mon, don't be shy... I need new tunes...

1. I doubt you'll find it
But look for Echo Uganda... they're a local band here, not sure if you can find them online, but they've got some wonderfully upbeat African music! (and they're great people, to boot!)

9. Yup, that's them!!
I don't know how Gideon feels about sharing his music... I know he's made some copies of CDs for local folks, but I don't know if he's got anything out on the internet yet. You could email him and tell him Lindsay sent you; he's a great guy! :)

2. Nice by Duran Duran
On their new album Astronaut. It's just the most infectiously upbeat song ever.

I'll see if it's around on the music subscriptions I've got now...

Thanks for the recommendation!

6. Most of my songs are from the 70's and 80's
I guess being preoccupied with kids in the 90's and 00's I kind of lost track of what was out there.
Thanks for the recommendation!

4. "Holy Wars" by Megadeth
That will have you walking at about 8 mph. It also might make you punch a few people and engage in vandalism.

since bears and cougars are coming out of hibernation!
Thanks for the recommendation!

Megadeth did get a lot slower after the 80s. Maybe that's why.
