**Hello From Washington, D.C.!!**

I'm in the glorious capital of our nation, and after a speed along the Mall last night, all I have seen of the splendor of the area is the block in Alexandria, VA, that my aunt--whom my family is staying with--lives on. That's what happens when you wake up throwing up and don't get any better all day. Miserable fucking stomach bug.

Wish I had better news to report, y'all...But I'm alone in a townhouse while my aunt, her husband, and my arents get to cruise Alexandria!

9. Oh, do get out and walk around Old Town Alexandria

when you feel better. It's really beautiful and the shops are fun to look into. And they have great restaurants there too. In fact, I like Alexandria better than Georgetown.

I'm practically IN Old Town--I think, anyway :D--but the most I've seen by daylight is my aunt's backyard.

10. When you feel better, hop on the Metro and take it to Eastern

Market. As you come off the escalator, turn around and head towards South Carolina Ave. The first house on the right is my old house! (648)

Then, head down Pennsylvania Ave to the Hawk and Dove or to one of my favorite hang outs, "The Tune Inn." (Great burgers!!)

I was in D.C. the first night we were here, before I got sick--we came in to Union Station by train. It was pretty. :D I'm still not going anywhere today, though. x(
