Man Kills Girlfriend With Microwave - She Wouldn't Heat Up His Sandwich

UNIONTOWN, Pa. -- Police said a man used a microwave oven to attack his live-in girlfriend and then beat her to death early Thursday morning in Uniontown, Fayette County.

Walter Fordyce, 58, said he began arguing with Mary McCann, 55, after she refused to heat up roast beef sandwiches for him, according to police.

Fordyce allegedly told police that he threw McCann on the floor, threw the microwave onto her chest and beat her head against the floor until she lost consciousness.

McCann was found dead in a bedroom at her home on Carlisle Street, police said.

My favorite story from my Cousin Gene--the recreation guy for a women's correctional facility...



There is a lady in his facility that was convicted of killing her husband. Every night that he wasn't out bowling he'd come home and fall asleep in his chair watching ESPN--unless he was beating on her--in which case then he'd stay up all night.

Finally, one night she snapped and beat him to death with his own bowling ball.



She has one recreational activity that she will attend while she is incarcerated. BOWLING.


I dunno--seems to me that the microwave would almost be easier to hang onto while doing the deed than the bowling ball would be. Do you suppose she is a "finger tip" bowler? Does she use a three or a four step approach? I really want to know.

I also want to know if he used the defrost setting or just hit time cook...

think about what that relationship looked like. And it got so bad she got killed :( People who are abusive can be abusive about anything, not just big issues.
