I just hung my clothesline...ask me anything!
I'm sooooooooo stoked! I haven't had a clothesline in years. :bounce:

I have a plot (along w/eyesroll and a couple other people) in a community garden, a portion of which (well, a portion of the harvest) will be dontated to a local food bank. I also have been shopping at the organic/free trade market. And am doing commando organizing for the Milwaukee branch of the National Work-Based Schools initiative.

I feel like such a bloody do-gooder. :7

34. Well...
We have a really polite hobo who comes and picks through the trash on a daily basis...he unloads the bins, takes what he can use, then replaces all he removed. Which kinda rocks...he's like a one-man recycling unit.

Real trash day varies, cos this is Milwaukee and god forbid anything make sense. (What with the parking on either side of the street every other day, the getting tickets for parking 15 ft from the *COMPLETELY UNMARKED* crosswalk, etc...:eyes:)

2. The plot will thicken!!! as stuff grows out there....
Sorry, had to make a bad pun.

How big is the plot and what do you plan to grow?

We had a clothesline until a couple years ago when it died of pollution rot. :(

7. The plot is 20x20
Which is really, really big. :D

We plan on growing many of your *garden variety* veggies...tomatoes, beans, corn, green peppers etc.

And for that foul pun... :spank:

8. Hmmm...sorta!
Our good friend here in Milwaukee was in a bit of a state of flux re: her marriage; we offered her a place to stay in exchange for lesse faire nanny services. Which is working beautifully, as she is a teacher and incredibly patient with children (something I lack in spades. :()
