I know it's early in the season |
|
but let me celebrate a little...the Mets are 10-2...the best record in baseball. Yes I realize it's still April but dammit I'm a Mets fan, and I will cheer about every little bit I can because quite frankly over the years there hasn't been much to cheer about.
So Congrats Pedro on your 200th win! :toast:

1. yeah, it was kind of a nail-biter |
|
but no one can argue with the result!
This year, the Mets are clearly a better team from 1-25 than the braves, probably for the first time since the early 90s....I don't even know if the Braves finish above the Phillies this year, provided they get their crap together....That lineup does not scare anybody

3. I don't mean to rain on your parade |

but the Dodgers started out 12-2 last year. They went 59-89 the rest of the way.
Just sayin' — poo-poo occurs.
Nevertheless, I must claim some of the Mets' early success for X Nady, a local guy who just needed playing time to prove his mettle. (Nyaaaahhh, San Diego.)
