I'm about to meet my first DUer
Skygazer's comin' over in a bit to take some bookshelves off my hands, thereby freeing some space for me to install the trapeze and trampoline decorate this place the way I want to.

Good thing I cleaned the bathroom the other day. :silly:

13. She is indeed
Very natural, very WYSIWYG. I like that very much in an Earthling.

After we loaded the shelves in her rent-a-mega-truck, we went to Starbucks and talked about sundry stuff. It was seriously cool... especially the bit about her great-grandfather's belt buckle.

Okay... who's next? :hi:

16. Yeah, but I'm keepin' 'em
I do have an old computer desk and a sewing machine with cabinet that I wanna get rid of, though.

I live about 90 miles SSE of you. (You're in SF, right?)

21. What You See Is What You Get
Old computer term, from the early days of GUI (Graphic User Interface, i.e. point-and-click; pronounced "gooey").

You'll hafta ask her about the bathroom. I note the seat is still down. :D

26. Oh, I've heard the term of course, just never seen the acronym for it.
yeah, that's a good description of her. It fits.

I'm the same way, so I think that's why we hit it off so well, too.

How funny that skygazer is the first DU'er we've both met. She gets around, that girl....:D

10. Everytime I go to a restaurant, I use the bathroom first.
if the bathroom isn't clean, that should give you a good idea about the kitchen.

15. I met ronnykmarshall at a protest.
I recognized his picture and said 'hi.' He's really cool.

I also knew wtmusic before I joined... so I guess that doesn't count.

Meeting DUers has never disappointed me yet!

19. Sounds like you had a wonderful time
You're turning into quite the social butterfly.

Now...have you decided where you're going to install that trapeze how you're going to decorate?

22. I think I'll put
the trapeze new teevee in front of one of the windows on the front of the house, or maybe in the corner.

Thing is, now I got room to play with the trapeze and trampoline furniture.

23. Well...
If you put the trapeze in front of the window, it's backlit and, if you play with the trampoline right, and get everything in JUST the right position, it oughta minimize any strains or sprains glare.

Don't want people outside seein' the trapeze and trampoline action teevee flicker.

25. You've got options
If you only use the equipment watch during the daylight hours it's not a problem. If you want to swing on the trapeze watch tee vee after dark, you'll just have to close the blinds...

31. Well, you said
You wanted to get rid of the curtains so, unless you're an exhibitionist, blinds are the way to go. Otherwise the neighbors'll have a great view of your new trampoline and trapeze tee vee. Not to mention the flickering...

Plus they'll give Lucy something to bat at.
