Poll question: Painting flags on roofs. Patriotism? Or jingoistic BS?

Here's a guy who goes around the country painting flags on roofs in the name of Patriotism and supporting the troops.
What do you think of this?

1. I'd probably consider it jingoistic.

I'd also question flag etiquette. Is it really a GOOD thing to have flags and flag symbols on everything?
