I had my first "Harp" beer tonite |
|
I normally drink the Extra Stout, but I wanted to make a beer batter for dinner and thought I should use something lighter. I used one Harp for the batter, and have been working on consuming the rest of sixer.
I have to say, for a lighter beer than I'm used to, it's pretty good. At least as good as Spotted Cow.
The beer batter chicken and onion rings turned out great, too. Especially with a cold Harp.
That is all.

2. I'm going to stay with the Extra Stout for "everyday beer" |
|
I like the hops.
But if I want a lager for something, I think it will be Harp. I can get some really decent local microbrews around here, but I can get Harp all year round. :)
