What have the Fates got in store for the rest of the team? It's starting to look a lot like last year...

Somebody needs to go down to the beachers and sacrifice a couple of Vienna Red Hots and a Hamm's Beer to the basket in order to appease the Demons.

1. Probably out at LEAST until mid June...
He's gonna be in a cast for up to six weeks (which'll take him into the first week of June) and then there's rehab. Freak play. It didn't LOOK that bad...I've seen him do face-plants in foul territory and slam into dugouts. Couple of nasty-looking, scary collisions last year and nothing. Shook his head once or twice to clear the cobwebs and then, next play, he'd be digging out another throw to first.

I like the idea of making a sacrifice or three to the the basket. They need to bring a goat in to watch a game, too. Hell, a whole friggen' HERD of goats.

2008 and not until then.

*sigh*
