This has been one of the longest weeks EVER of my 20-something year worklife.

My new job became hell on earth last Thursday with deadlines finally hitting right and left. The 12 and 14 hour days I've been working since I started have finally begun taking their toll, and I'm living for May 10. I almost quit Monday around lunchtime.

After I send this puppy to the printer I can finally take a much needed breather and have my evenings and weekends off again.

To torture my friends on DU. :evilgrin:

17. One time at about 9th & M NW in DC, this was about 1986, a guy

came up to my then girlfriend and asked very politely in an endearing mush-mouthed way, "How do you spell Tidwapped?"

She very kindly spelled out the word "kidnapped" for the gentleman, later realizing that she had probably aided a ransom note.
