Anyone know someone who watches political shows to look smart |
|
I think my mom does since she's always watching Capitol Gang, McLaughin Group but asking me and my grandmother questions about what's going on in politics. Not dissing her because she's smart in other things just a little odd when it comes to political things.

2. Nothing wrong with trying to learn |
|
its the people who watch political shows, then spout off the talking points to their friends without actually understanding them that pisses me off.

3. Yeah I know its just funny |

What you talk about reminds me of the family guy where Peter thinks he's a genius. He doesn't exactly use the political talking points. However, he refers to Lois's meatloaf as "Shallow and Pedonic" without having a clue to what the word means.

So far I haven't found any that do very much good.
All of my conservative friends just get mad at me when I talk politics - so I don't talk politics very much.
