Poll question: How will Sen. DeWine (R-OH) turn his flagging campaign around (humor)?
Ohio's Mike Dewine is facing fierce opposition from Congressman and former Ohio Sec. of State Sherrod Brown (D-OH13). Polls show Brown with a comfortable lead over DeWine. How will DeWine turn his campaign around and prevent Ohio from turning blue?

the tax and abortion one, though the orc one was tempting.

5. I write this in jest, but...
...this is a tremendously important race for the country. If Ohio turns blue with the Senate and the Governor, we will be in a postion to influence who is selected as a presidential candidate for 08. As it happened in 04, the primary was over before Super Tuesday happened and our candidates were chosen by one of the smallest, whitest, least industrial state in the union along with a midwestern state that uses an antiquated and unrepresentative caucus system. Since Ohio has chosen even president since the Civil War except for JFK, shouldn't Ohio also have a major role in selecting the nominee?

Also, if we blow it in '08, Sherrod will still be young enough to run for president himself in 2012. This is just speculation, of course.
